GLA #17: How-to GeekLists

This GeekList Aggregator deals with How-to-GeekLists. Many geeklists serve as a little how-to guide. Most of them are serious, some others just pure fun and they cover a broad range of topics. One How-to list covers the game rules and nicely connects BGG images and text, some others investigate how to manage and categorize game collections and another one is focused on how to best explain the rules.

Pretty thought provoking stuff *g*, all collated in GeekList Aggregator #17: How-to GeekLists.

GeekList #19516: How to play Attika? by Colonel Mustard
I was recently inspired by several sessions to visit the BGG of Attika. While browsing through the reviews, I stumbled across Colonel Mustard's GeekList of How to play Attika? In this list, Colonel Mustard uses existing BGG images to explain the rules. I find this a very interesting and innovative way of using a GeekList as it nicely visualizes the rules of a game that you have never played. It helped me to visualize the rules more vividly. I would certainly like to see this type of How-to-Play-GeekList more often...

Probably the list is not meant as THE ultimate how-to-categorise-games thread but I found it very thought-provoking...

GeekList #16587:How to explain a game by Michel Condoroussis
Michel is the only person in his game group who explains the games they play. Sounds familar? Wanna be a volunteer? Talented? Or just the person who buys all the games? In any case, this is an extremely useful list with some fun images to help make a point...
