Thurn und Taxis might hold a *small* advantage for the starting player. There is always exactly one person at the table that does not agree. In one of my groups, this is typically Raven. H@ll9000 has identified this very same problem and suggested the following variant:

All players have to repeat the following German sentence three times in a row:
Der Cottbusser Postkutscher putzt den Cottbusser Postkutschkasten

Whoever can do this the fastest without any mistakes will start the game.
