Naturelich's first Sudoku session
In my last post, I had written about my Essen gamelist. Since several board game publisher offer a game titled Sudoku, I was wondering what Sudoku is. Apparently, it is the newest hype from Japan. Olivier Verdin was so kind to leave a comment pointing me to SudokuPrime where you can play Sudoku online. Above, you can see the results of my first game. It took 15 minutes to complete this game. It is quite a brain teaser, much like a special kind of crossword puzzles. In Germany, we have a magazine called P.M. which sometimes contains similar logic crosswords. It will be interesting to see the boardgames in Essen. I am not sure if this is the second Japanese trend I will pick up (the first was Tamagotchis, a couple of years ago, which I played for about 4 days, after which the beast had died). Let's see, it's probably fun. Maybe there are some other recommendable Sudoku websites for beginners?
