Mah-Jongg sessions
After yesterday's boardgame session we decided to enjoy a couple of rounds of Mah-Jongg. The gaming group was really enthusiastic as we hadn't played Mah-Jongg in a few months. We had purchased a new Mah-Jongg set with European characters (here's the link to the previous tileset). Those made it much easier for everyone to enjoy the game. Since the mechanisms to calculate the final score are really, really complicated, I purchased a license of Red Dragon. This piece of software is absolutely great when it comes to properly score a Mah-Jongg game. We therefore put my laptop next to the table and entered our Chi, Pong and Kang on-the-fly. This has really made the whole game a lot easier.
Since a complete game of Mah-Jongg really takes a lot of time, we were not able to finish it. After playing 4 hours, we are at about one quarter through the game. Thanks to Red Dragon, we'll be able to continue the game next time we meet. Here are the current scores:
Naturelich (+4824), Kleki-Petra (-1534), PJ (-2248), MM (-1042)
If only we had played with real Euros... ;-)
