Settlers of Catan session 1

Today we played two games of The Settlers of Catan (Die Siedler von Catan). For the first time ever, this gaming group played under the advanced rules with regular board setup.

Game 1:
White was able to get the longest trading route. Orange had his strength in acquiring wood and a seaport which offered wood trading. Red got a great settlement at a lucrative forest but got robbed too often.

Game 2:
The second game was very very close. Here orange got a very bad starting situation and the other two players where ahead most of the time. But due to unforeseeable good luck orange was able to win in a very very close game...
