Naturelich had his first shot at the game today. I got hooked up to it real quick as did all the other players. Altogether we enjoyed three games today. One started in the early morning as the contestants both were not able to sleep any more. In the afternoon I insisted on having an additional game and two additional players joined us...
At first the game seemed a little bit complicated with all those special buildings and game mechanisms one had to remember. But after a while we all got hooked up by it. Since everyone seemed to like the game we played a third game. I had to leave the party (which continued playing Ticket to Ride for a couple of games) but even the most skeptic player peeked at the rules for the special buildings after the game and read the hints. Thus, the game seems to have created enduring interest in all of us. I definitely hope to play it more often. It is certainly very entertaining and a lot of fun! The game mechanism offers so many possibilities the players have to constantly evaluate (without being slow) - Mr. Spock would call this game: fascinating!
