Playing a German map of Ticket to Ride
The wonderful game afternoon continued with two matches of the German expansion map to Ticket to Ride. My dear friends Shelak and Raven were anxious to play Sebastian Huth's inofficial map of Germany (which my Kleki-Petra and I had tinkered earlier).
These two games were really fascinating and a lot of fun for me!
In the first game Shelak (blue tiles) was trying to get to Regensburg. Naturelich had to get to Nuremberg first and later to Munich, so I connected via Regensburg, taking two possible slots away from him. This really made it difficult to get there. Raven had a whole lot of fun in the Northern part of the country. Unfortunately she was not able to score as many long routes, thus scoring a little bit behind.

The final results of the first game
Raven: 97 points
Shelak: 117 points
Naturelich: 142 points (L)
The second game was dominated by Shelak giving only very little room to Raven and myself. While Raven dominated the North, she was unable to complete one 11-point ticket in time. On the German map, this kind of ticket is already rather expensive and ate up another 5- and 6-pointers she had completed successfully. With those additional 22 points Naturelich would have made the last place in this game. Shelak scored all the cool missions in Southern Germany which are rather long. This also gave him an additional 10 points for the longest route. Here are the final results:

The final results of the second game
Raven: 86 points
Shelak: 154 points (L)
Naturelich: 105 points

I've had some luck, drawing the right routes at the right time...
