Match in Carcassonne city
We also played a game of Carcassonne - The City / Die Stadt. Raven was the moral winner because we did not entirely explain one rule which cost her 35 points to win.
In the picture above you can see a missing tile in the foreground. Naturelich (blue) and Shelak (green) were fighting hard for the villages. If I had been able to place a fitting tile, I would have connected the two settlings into one giving me two reeves against one of Shelak's. But unfortunately (or luckily, this is probably a matter of perspective), Shelak got a suitable tile first and destroyed my hopes.
The final city layout is shown below. What do you think? I quite like the result... ;)
All in all the game was real fun and Naturelich enjoyed it a looot. I really really like this variant of Carcassonne. It is so much more fun than the original game, because of the city walls which need to get build.
