Creating the inofficial German expansion to Ticket to Ride

My Kleki-Petra and I worked hard when creating one of the inofficial German expansion maps for Ticket to Ride (Zug um Zug). We chose the map containing Osnabrück where most of our origins are. We printed the entire materials on photo paper and started cutting...
Since the map is very large we had some issues fitting it onto our (already huge) board (the rear-side is already in use for the Belgian expansion).

After a while the sizing problems where solved, however, the cutting of the pieces seemed more difficult than anticipated. This was due to the fact, that the creators had incorporated way to many trim marks (decreasing the usability score). Therefore, the process took much longer than anticipated and I learned some new swear words from my little Kleki-Petra, while cutting the tickets... This on the other hand raises the fun score by a bit!
After a while we eventually got the cutting part worked out. Next up was the glueing bit. After a little bit of thinking I not only glued my fingers but - lucky me - also coped with the map part (rather well, I may add). Since there were so many sheets we put some lamination on top of the whole thing.
And here we are ready to go....
