Woody Allen and Match Point

Yesterday, I was at the movies after quite a while. Time for Woody Allen's Match Point with Jonathan Rhys-Myers, Scarlett Johansson and Emily Mortimer. Scarlett Johansson had given a wonderful performance as Griet in Girl with a Perl Earring (one of my favorite movies).

For a Woody Allen movie, the theatre was rather crowded. The directing was wonderful, some very memorable camera moves and scenes. The story is quite extraordinary. Main motto: Sometimes luck is more important than talent. It's a quiet movie with some length in it but the end really makes up for it. I can't even tell whether the end was surprising or not, it would give away too much. I enjoyed watching it although the main character is really evil...
