Edward Hopper

I visited Museum Ludwig's Edward Hopper exhibition yesterday. Hopper (1882-1967), most famous for Nighthawks (1942), focused his art on American civilisation. His paintings seem to tell a story. I found topics like loneliness, the "beauty" of American cities, non-communication, theatre/movies and a lot of others. The exhibition will continue until January 9th, 2005.
