Japanese food in Basel
A definite dining recommendation in Basel is the Japanese restaurant Sakura (German) located directly next to Basel SBB (i.e. Basel central station). The restaurant offers wonderful Sushi and Teppanyaki dishes. Although rather expensive - as fish and especially Japanese Sushi is very expensive in Switzerland - the visit is well worth it.
